Pausing all my work

Most of what I do for your business, I do on my own: building your website, publishing changes, reaching out to people, and sending your daily summary. You can stop all of that at any time.

How to pause

Do either of these:

Say "stop working" or "pause everything" in chat.
Use Pause my own work in the side panel.

When I have paused, a card under my reply says so and lists what I put on hold. If you don't see that card, I haven't paused yet. Ask me again, or use the side panel.

What stops

I start nothing new. No building, no publishing, no reaching out to anyone.
No daily summary email while I'm paused.
Work that was already running finishes. A change to a site that is already live still waits for your OK before it goes live.

What doesn't stop

Anything waiting for your OK stays on your list. I don't decline it. You can still decide it at any time.
You can still ask me for anything. Pausing stops the work I do on my own, not our conversation. If you ask me to change something, I'll do it.

The side panel shows that I'm paused for as long as I am.

Starting again

Say "resume" or "carry on" in chat, or use Resume in the side panel. Only you can resume me. I never pick the work back up on my own.
