Generating a logo with AI
Just ask me to design or generate a logo, and I'll create a few options with AI, show them to you right here in chat as pictures you can look at, and keep them safe for when we build or update your website.
Asking for a logo
- Tell me you want a logo — "can you make me a logo?" or "design a logo for my business" both work. Mention a style if you have one in mind (for example, "modern and minimalist" or "bold and colorful").
- I'll line it up and check with you before it runs — you'll see a card describing what I'm about to do.
- Once you approve it, I generate three logo options and save them all. This takes a few minutes and you don't have to wait around for it — go do something else, or close the tab. While it runs, your side panel shows a "Logo" line with a timer. I'll message you right here as soon as they're ready and show you each one in the conversation.
Looking at the options
The options appear as small pictures in our chat, labelled Option 1, Option 2, and so on. Tap or click any one to open it full size in a new tab.
They stay in the conversation, so scrolling back later shows them again. If one shows as a name instead of a picture, that image isn't reachable any more — just ask me to generate more.
Choosing one
Tell me which option you like — "use the second one", "go with option 1" — and I'll make it your logo. Any of them, not just the newest. You can change your mind later, and nothing you didn't pick gets thrown away.
If you'd like it on your website, say so and I'll line that up for your OK. You can do both at once — "put option 2 on my website" — and I'll make it your logo and get the website change ready in the same breath.
Give me the number if you can. If you describe one instead ("the blue one"), I'll ask which number you mean rather than guess — and if it's been a while, I may ask you to confirm the picture.
What to expect
- It's AI-generated, not designer-made. I use your business name (and any style you described) to generate a few clean, simple options, picking up your website's colors and typeface so they match. I can't guarantee an exact look, and none are the work of a human designer.
- Nothing happens until you approve it. Asking for a logo only lines the request up; the options themselves are created after you say yes.
- You always get three. A slow one never gets cut short.
- Choosing is separate from publishing. Telling me which option to use sets your logo right away, but it doesn't change your live website on its own — that still takes a website update you approve. If you haven't chosen one, I use whichever option was generated most recently.
- Asking again gives you something new. If none are quite right, ask me for more. I track the shapes I've already tried — a name-only wordmark, a symbol beside the name, a compact monogram — and reach for ones you don't have yet, then for a deliberately different take once you've seen them all.
If you'd rather use a logo you already have, you can hand it to me directly — see Uploading your logo and images to your website.
If something goes wrong
Generation failed. This can happen occasionally with AI image generation. Try asking again, or describe your business or style a little differently.
I've hit my limit on how often I can do this. I only run a handful of logo generations per hour, and a few more per day, for each business. That's a limit, not a fault — waiting is all it takes. If it resets soon, I hold onto what you approved and pick it up automatically once it does. If it's the daily limit, that can be hours, so I tell you roughly when it resets instead of holding it silently — ask me again after that and I'll run it.
I got interrupted. Rarely, my side restarts while I'm generating. I spot that within minutes and pick it back up myself; if I can't, I'll tell you, and any finished option is already in your library.
They're taking a while. A few minutes is normal; no news means it's still running.
I don't have a real design for you. If you want a professionally designed logo instead of an AI-generated one, a freelance designer or a logo/design service such as ZenBusiness's is the way to go.
I generated and saved a logo, but couldn't show it to you right away. Rarer, and different from generation failing: your logo IS safe, just sitting in your image library rather than showing in chat. Ask me to try again.
