Finding things under the hood
This page is for you if your screen has a panel called Under the hood. Nothing was taken away. Chat is now the main place where work happens, and everything else moved into that panel. This page shows where each thing went. If you don't see that panel yet, you have the earlier layout, and "What's on your Dashboard" is the page for you.
What changed
- Chat comes first. It takes most of the screen. Ask me for something, and I do it here.
- A thin bar along the top shows your business name and your picture. Tap the business name to switch businesses. Tap your picture for your account menu.
- Under the hood opens and closes from a button. Closed, chat gets the room. Open, you see what I'm doing and keeping track of. Each section shows a count when something there needs a look.
- Open links in chat. An approval in chat and each build in the "working on now" list carry an Open link. It opens Under the hood at the right section, on that item.
- The row of tabs across the top is gone. Your apps now live in the Your apps section. Links to a page you saved still work. They open Under the hood at the right section.
- The middle column only appears when you expand an app. Until then, chat has the whole screen.

Social and Outreach don't have sections of their own. Look in Activity.
Questions I ask you
When I need an answer or an approval, the question sits just above the message box. You can answer it, or tap Not now. If you tap Not now, I keep it under Activity so you can come back to it. Nothing is lost.
Using your apps
Open Your apps and pick an app. It opens inside the panel.
- Expand it. Tap the expand button to give the app the full width. Chat stays on the left as a narrow column, so you can keep talking to me about the app. Use Back to drawer to shrink it again, or Close to close it.
- Pin it. Pin an app you use every day. It shows as a button on the top bar, one tap from anywhere. Unpin it from the same place.
On your phone
If your phone shows a thin strip under the top bar with an Under the hood button, you have this layout on your phone too.
- Chat fills the screen. The row of buttons along the bottom is gone.
- The strip shows what is waiting on you. The Under the hood button carries one number: everything waiting across all the sections.
- Tap Under the hood and it opens full screen. Pick a section from the row at the top. Tap Back to chat at the bottom to return. Your conversation is right where you left it.
- Open links in chat and my "approve this in Activity" pointers open the same screen at the right section.
- Expanded apps take the full screen too, with a way back.
- Pinned apps show on the top bar on a computer only. On your phone, open them from Your apps under Under the hood.
If your phone still shows Chat, Workspace and Activity along the bottom, you have the earlier layout.
