Talking to a real person
If you ever want to reach an actual person on the ZenBusiness team — not your AI co-founder — just say so in chat: "I want to talk to a human," "can I speak to someone," or "I need real support." Your co-founder will give you the ZenBusiness support email address right away.
What about replying to the evening email?
That one depends on how your account is set up right now, so it has a page of its own: replying to my emails covers it, and the note at the bottom of every daily work summary says where that email's replies go. If a person is specifically what you want, don't rely on hitting reply — ask in chat, as above, and you'll get the support address.
Your co-founder can also send the question for you
If you ask something about the platform that your co-founder can't answer, or ask for something it can't do (like a payment link over the limit), it will offer to send your request to the ZenBusiness team. The offer comes with two buttons under the message: Yes, send it and No, thanks.
Tap Yes, send it, or just type a plain "yes" ("yes, please send it to the team" works too), and the message goes to the team right away. You'll see what happened straight after:
- Sent. It's with the team, and they'll reply to you by email.
- Saved, not sent yet. There's a short limit on how many messages go out at once. Your message is kept and goes out automatically as soon as that clears. You don't need to ask again.
- Couldn't get through. Your message is kept and retried automatically until it goes through.
- Nothing went out. In the rare case it couldn't even be saved, your co-founder says so plainly. Ask again in a moment.
If your reply says more than yes ("yes, but first change my headline"), nothing is sent yet. Your co-founder reads the whole message and picks up from there.
This works in your portal chat. If you're replying to one of your co-founder's emails, it can't send anything to the team from there; it'll ask you to bring it up in your portal chat, where it can send it.
Two different inboxes
That support address reaches the ZenBusiness team, about the platform itself. It's different from your own business's built-in email address (see "Your business email and inbox"), which is where your customers reach you. Your co-founder keeps these two straight and won't hand you your own business inbox when you ask for support.
When you don't need to ask for a human
For everyday help — naming your business, writing your homepage copy, figuring out pricing, planning your next step — that's exactly what your co-founder is there for. It'll just help, rather than pointing you elsewhere. Reach for the support email when something genuinely needs a person on the ZenBusiness team, not for routine questions your co-founder can answer directly.
