Changing your site's look

If your site's colors, type, or page layout just aren't you, tell me and I'll change them — pick a new look from a small set of curated options, and I'll rebuild your homepage to match, all in one step.

How to ask

Just tell me in chat — "I don't like my site's colors" or "can we try a different layout" both work. I'll offer a short list of looks that fit your business, described in plain language rather than a wall of options. Pick one (or ask to see a few more), and I'll ask you to confirm before anything changes — an approval card appears right in our chat, and it names both the new look you're picking AND that your homepage will be rebuilt to match.

What you're choosing between

  • A color-and-type theme — a complete, coordinated set of colors and fonts. Every option is designed to look good on its own; none of them are a hex code or a font you type in — you're picking from a curated set, not hand-tuning values.
  • A homepage layout — the overall shape and order of your homepage (what it leads with, how sections are arranged). Each option describes who it tends to fit best, so you can judge fit for your business.

The two choices are independent — you can keep your current layout and only change the color theme, or the other way around.

What happens after you approve

Your new look is saved, and your homepage is rebuilt to match — right away, in the same step, never as a separate ask later. Like any homepage rebuild, it keeps your other pages, your blog, your contact form, and your real business content — it re-presents them in the new look rather than starting over. See Rebuilding your website for what a rebuild keeps and what to expect from it.

If you don't change anything

Nothing about your site's look changes on its own. The theme and layout you already have — whether you picked them or they were assigned when your site was first built — stay exactly as they are until you ask for something different.

Going back

Every version of your site is kept. If you preferred how it looked before, ask to roll back — see "Rolling back a change".
