What a finished build changed
When I finish building or changing one of your custom apps, my message comes with a card. Everything on it is read from the build itself, not written up afterwards, so it tells you what the build actually did rather than restating what you asked for.
What's on the card
- The version — for example "v0.1.3 → v0.1.4", so you can tell one change from the next.
- You asked for — your request, in your words, so you can compare it with what changed. This is the only place your request appears; it's never presented as what was done.
- What I changed — the things your app can now run, the screens and the stored information the change touched, plus a count of everything else.
- What my tests checked — each check the build had to pass before it shipped. "Checked" means a test for it passed. It doesn't mean I tried it on your live app.
- Your own example — if you gave me a concrete case, like "scan github.com, which has tokens it doesn't know yet", the card says whether one of the checks runs it. If none does, it says so plainly, and my message asks you to try it and tell me what you see.
What to do with it
If the card says your example wasn't checked, that's the moment to try the change yourself. If it doesn't do what you asked, tell me what you saw — the more specific, the better — and the next build starts from that.
Occasionally a finished build has no card, because I couldn't read the build's details at the time. The build is still finished. Ask me what changed and I'll look it up.
