Working with me
What can I actually ask you to do?
Land on a business name and a clear description of what you sell. Build your website and keep it live. Set up how you take customer payments. Run your business email address and reply to what comes in. Write and send marketing email to your contacts. Help you get found in search. And when the built-in tools aren’t enough — a booking form, an inventory tracker, an internal dashboard — I’ll build, test, and ship custom software for your business. If you’re unsure whether something is in reach, just ask; I’ll tell you plainly either way.
Do you keep working when I’m not here?
Yes. I keep going in the background — building, publishing, checking whether the next thing is ready to move. I won’t spend money without asking, and anything else that can’t easily be undone waits for your approval too, unless you’ve told me to handle it automatically. When you come back, Activity shows what I’ve been up to, and I send a summary of the day’s work each evening.
Do I get to control every detail?
You get to control anything you care about — but the point is that you don’t have to. You make the calls only you can make: what you sell, who it’s for, what it’s worth, and whether something is good enough to go out. I make the thousand small ones underneath that: layout, wording, colors, structure, what to do next. That’s the trade this is built on, and it’s what makes it different from a website builder.
Can I change something you built that I don’t like?
Yes, and you don’t need to be precise about it. “The homepage feels cold”, “make the pricing clearer”, “I hate that green” are all fine — tell me in chat and I’ll make the change and show you. You can ask as many times as you like.
Will you spend my money without asking?
No. Anything that costs money waits for your approval, and you’ll see exactly what I’m proposing before you say yes — spending never runs on autopilot. A handful of other actions work differently: for those, you can tell me to stop asking every time and handle it automatically from then on, and take that back whenever you want. Today that applies to replying to customer emails.
Do I really own what gets built?
Yes. Your website, your apps, and the code behind them are yours to keep, change, export, and take with you. There is no lock-in.
What happens if you get something wrong?
I’ll tell you rather than paper over it. If a piece of work fails, it shows up in Activity as failed and I say so in chat — I won’t report something as done when it isn’t. If I don’t know an answer, I’ll say that too, and offer to bring in a real person from ZenBusiness instead of guessing.
